I trust God to give me a child – Cindy Thompson

Veteran gospel musician, Cindy Thompson has said she is counting on God to help her get a child of her own four years after marriage.

Speaking on Ayekoo-Ayekoo, the mid-morning show on Accra 100.5FM on Wednesday, 2 October 2019, the Awurade Kasa hitmaker said she believes the same God who answered her prayers for a husband will grant her wish to conceive.

“I’ve been married for four years without a child but I feel good. I feel good because I’m counting on God. God gives everything, when I wanted to marry, I prayed to God and he gave me a husband. God knows I want to bear a child and so, in the same manner, He helped Hannah, Sarah and Rachel in the Bible I believe he’s going to do it for me,” Cindy Thompson told show host Nana Romeo.

“I trust God so much that he can do whatever I need. God brought me the right man to marry and so why won’t he give me a child at the right time?” She quizzed.

Cindy Thompson released her first solo album in 1998. Some of her hit songs that still make waves and impact the gospel industry include Awurade Kasa, Dromo Sonn, and Awanwa Do.
