Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has shared her struggles following a severe accident she experienced some time ago.

She explained that the accident caused significant damage to her right arm, necessitating surgery to keep it functional.

McBrown revealed that she has undergone four surgeries—three in Ghana and one in Germany.

She mentioned that metal and screws have been inserted into her right arm to provide stability.

In an interview with Bola Ray on the Starr Chat programme aired on GhOne TV and monitored by GhanaWeb, McBrown expressed that she endures constant pain but is grateful to have survived the incident.

"I have endured a lot of pain. I have had surgery on my right arm four times. I can stretch it, but over time, the pain returns. I will be undergoing another surgery soon, and I hope it will be my last. I have metal and screws in my right arm, so any slight movement can cause them to shift, break, or come out, requiring me to fix it again.

"I have had three surgeries in Ghana and one in Germany. When I see the scar, it reminds me of how unpredictable life is. If a situation doesn't kill you, just heal and move on," she said.

It is worth recalling that on January 30, 2013, McBrown was reportedly involved in a car accident on the George Walker Bush Highway near Lapaz at around 2 a.m.
