I want to be a President after my music career - Quamina MP

Growing up, we all had dreams and goals we would like to achieve, and a certain career path that we want to follow. Promising Ghanaian rapper, Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo popularly known as Quamina MP is not an exception.

The Wiase Y3 D3 hitmaker has revealed that, he has dreams of leading Ghana in the near future when he is done with music.

In an interview with host DJ Nyaami on WE DEY VIBE on SVTV Africa, the rapper said, even though music is his passion and what he loves to do, becoming a President is his longtime dream but unfortunately he dropped out of school due financial constraints.

"Den na adey Ghana Telecom but money no dey, ma poppy dey try but still, wey ma mommy dey go take loan den things to support but later ebi too much wey I feel say ano fit stress ma mummy like that, but I definitely go go back to school, I want be President, so ago do doctorate course then after ago do some politics"

He was quick to add that, he wants to be the president of Ghana and not the president of Musician Union Of Ghana, MUSIGHA.

Quamina MP furthered that, as a result of financial crisis, he had to stop school and pursue music.

Asked whether his parents were in support of his music career, he said: "oh yeah especially ma poppy, den times sef, ma poppy dey use my songs as en ringtone. Ma mummy di3 na she want make I go school"

Quamina MP has been nominated for the 2019 edition of the Ghana Music Awards in the Hiplife Song of the Year and New Artist Of The Year Category. The young act is hopeful of winning the two awards on the night.

The rapper and singer is currently promoting his new song featuring rave of the moment Medikal, titled “Amanfuor Girls.”
