Secular artiste turned gospel musician, Kojo Bentil wants to collaborate with dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The urban gospel artiste in an interview with Zionfelix.com Tuesday morning said it will be good to work with the “kakia” hitmaker because of his followers.
“One of the people I really want to work with is Shatta Wale".
The musician who admitted that many pastors will talk against his interest to work with Shatta Wale continued that he will give death ears to those criticisms if the collaboration will help to win souls for Christ.
“A lot of churches and pastors will not even approve of him but I’m doing it because it is a field that I can reach out and speak to a lot of his fans and a lot of people following him that regardless of what you do, there is this Father that loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
Shatta Wale is the king of the street and the title of my album would be street to the church which means we came from the street and we are now in the church. It will only make sense if you relate it to somebody on the street.” He opined that Shatta Wale’s controversial behavior will not tarnish his vision to win souls for Christ.
“I don’t think Shatta Wale was radical than Peter. With all the things he has done, we have never heard e has cut any person’s ear but Peter in the bible did that but my Father still said I will you despite your sons. The Father is actually looking for the radical ones not those who fear things”
