Since news broke that Promzy has walked away for good from the VIP music trio, several of the group’s fans have expressed shock and blamed VIP’s manager, Bull Dog for the split.

But the Chief Executive of BullHaus Entertainment told NEWS-ONE he is not to blame for Promzy’s exit from the group because he manages their “professional lives” but not their “personal lives”.

“All I can say is that what is happening with VIP now is not professional, it is personal and even though I cannot reveal everything, these personal issues have been there before I walked in to VIP. As a group, they have their personal lives and their professional lives. I came in there to manage their professional lives not their personal lives. These two are linked together but if the personal is not handled well that is when it affects professional aspects of the situation and that is what has happened,” said Bull Dog.

According to him, VIP had been battling with individual issues before he started to manage the group and though he had warned them of the consequences of the breakup, there was nothing he could do to save the situation.

He added that he had personally called on some elders to talk to the group and had also gone further to spell out the implications a breakup would have on the group.

“Before an issue like that will come out, then you should know that we have gone through all the necessary things we can do and it didn’t work. I personally spoke with them and spelt out the implications when it comes to breaking up.”

He continued: “I don’t mind if they (fans) are blaming me because eventually, they will throw that blame away. If some success comes to the group like winning a Grammy, I’m sure it will be laid at my doorstep. So from that angle, I can understand where they are coming from but if they know the cracks of the matter, I’m sure they will be saying differently,” Bull stated.

Meanwhile, since the split, some have branded Bull Dog as an irresponsible manager simply because he was not able to keep the group together.

The group which is made up of Joseph Nana Ofori (Prodigal), and Abdul Hamid Ibrahim (Lazzy now Zeal), had been branded as one of Ghana’s best music groups plying its trade in the music industry for close to 16 years.
