“I’ve been a hospital prisoner before. I went to the hospital to give birth and it was very difficult for me to get money to pay my bills after I was operated on. It was cash and car those times so it wasn’t not easy at all.”

The musician who recently released her sixth studio album, “Aforebo” disclosed that she was detained for a week at the hospital due to her inability to pay her bills.

Ohemaa whose new song, “Aseda” is gaining much airplay telling how she finally footed her bills disclosed that her husband had to borrow money from a student.

“Its a miracle. One of my husband’s students said sir I have this money with me and I can give it to you as a loan. So my husband took it and rushed to the hospital to get me out. Its a long story.” she told Kafui Dey and Baisiw.
