Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, O.J has made it clear that he was born into a poor home.
The minister, real name Michael Oware Sakyi in an interview on Accra FM’s Gospel 360 entertainment show shared the ordeal he went through as a kid.
According to him, the nuclear family which had eight members including his father and mother lived in a single wrong.
He disclosed that his mother frowned on his wish to be a musician so he had to runaway from home to work on his passion.
O.J told Andy Favoured, host of the show that his mother’s wish for him was to be a teacher but he had different plans for himself.
He also narrated how he started gospel music even though that was not his desire.
