Ishmael Anakwa is 22 years old
Ishmael Anakwa Lartey known now as AfroheadGH a graduate of Koforidua Technical University is gradually making the name in the creative arts sector with his unique way of painting.
The 22-year-old former marketing student in an interview with Showbiz on Tuesday narrated how it all started for him.
“I have had the passion for everything Arts, Music, Dance, Pencil drawings and Comic from birth. I used to be a dancer from Primary School to SHS. After SHS my passion for dance dwindled till I discovered digital art. I started painting with Photoshop”
“I self-thought and improved myself, learnt how to do cover artworks, Album covers, Smudged art and Vector Art ” he added
When asked what challenges he’s faced in his short career as a painter he disclosed that his friends wanted his services at no cost thus he lost a lot of his good friends.
“I faced a lot of challenges because my friends wanted me to do free jobs for them. I had to combine my studies with deadlines for clients”
AfroheadGH has painted and presented several celebrities with his works notably amongst them is BET Award winner, Sarkodie, Medikal, Dadie Opanka, Flowking Stone, JKD and others.
