Artiste manager and former handler of Shatta Wale, Bulldog has debunked media assertion that he, together with some thugs attacked dancehall artiste Stonebwoy at the posh Paloma Hotel in Accra Saturday.

Bulldog, real name Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson is alleged to have stormed the premises of the hotel, assaulted a brother of Stonebwoy before attempting to drive off with a Mercedes Benz belonging to the latter.

This, many have attributed to the growing tension between Entertainment Company, Zylofon Media and management of Stonebwoy real name Livingstone Etse Satekla, since the signing of Shatta Wale on to the record label.

But speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex on his program “Show Buzz Agenda”, Bulldog said he was rather assaulted at the hotel.

According to him, it was also untrue that the Zylofon team was accompanied by thugs to retrieve the said car. He further described the attitude of Stonebwoy and his manager, Blakk Cedi prior to the chaos as unacceptable.

“Yes, there is some friction between us (Zylofon Media) and the Stonebwoy office which I will talk about at the appropriate time but between me and Cedi there is no issue. I was therefore surprised when he got so angry on Saturday.

Even if I had ordered my people to pick Stonebwoy or the car up, he didn’t have to shout on top of his voice, smash his fist on the table and break bottles. Even the transport manager had to flee the premises.

Nobody assaulted Stonebwoy and nobody hit his brother, I was the one shoved by one of the guys who even threatened to beat me up if I don’t leave. I never even saw Stonebwoy because Blak Cedi refused to grant me access to him. I also didn’t hear any gunshots. What happened was unnecessary,” he added.

Bulldog was also quick to add that, he hasn’t felt safe since the incident on Saturday.

“After the whole drama, I came back to the office for a quick meeting with members of my team before going home. I woke up to find my name all over social media. Later, I got a call from someone threatening to kill me. It was after investigations that I got to know that was Chief Abiola. He said it was because of the Stonebwoy issue. I didn’t take it seriously till you (Sammy Flex) told me he has also called you to threaten me. I spoke to my wife about it and she asked me to report the issue to the police so I have done just that.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has asked fans of Stonebwoy and the artist to remain calm, as the company tries to resolve the issue.
