I was the first person to interview Abraham Attah – MzGee

Three media personalities who have been the most talked about in the entertainment world are Jay Foley of Live FM and Multimedia’s Mzgee and Lexis Bill .

The three were accused of mocking actor Abraham Attah of his acceptance speech over the weekend in America when he won Best actor award at the Independent Spirit Awards.

After many Ghanaians attacked the three media persons on social media networks, Jay Foley took to his Facebook page explain himself.

He later apologised to the young actor. Joy FM’s drive time host, Lexis Bill subsequently admitted that he goofed and apologised to the teen and those who were who offended.

The last person to also say sorry is radio and TV presenter, Mzvee who together with Lexis Bill mimicked Abraham Attah on Joy FM’s drive time show late Monday afternoon.

Mzgee accepted her mistake and expressed regret mocking the ‘Beasts of No Nation’ actor.

After being the first to interview Abraham Attah on TV (Joynews on MultiTV ) in Ghana, I basked in his glory knowing how hard this young man has worked to attain this height.

I wonder what I stand to gain by mocking him. Well I read two stories on him on the Drive Time on Joy FM yesterday with Lexis Bill and we jokingly reiterated his ‘thank you’.

Guess that didn’t go down well with a lot of people hence the stories you read yesterday.

I apologise to anyone who was offended by my action. It was just a joke gone bad. I’m grateful to all those who have stood with me through this. God bless us all.
