I will beat Bukom Banku with one hand – Patrice Amegashie

Who would have imagined that This morning host, Patrice Amegashie had other special talents aside talking for a living? Well, the tough talking presenter has openly dared controversial boxer, Braimah Isaac Kamoko aka Bukom Banku to a boxing match.

The presenter who jokingly says he can defeat the one time African heavy weight champion has requested a match with the boxer, adding that he would “use only the right hand” to defeat the boxer.

Fueling his claims, Patrice said, “I will finish Bukom in no time, they can even tie my left hand and I will use only the right.” He further added “Bukom Banku is not my weight, pound for pound – toe to toe, I will defeat him.”

Boxer Bukom Banku has been in the center of controversy after allegedly claiming he would be named ambassador to Germany if he bleaches his skin. He also reportedly claimed to have had sexual intercourse with his own sister and most recently had to deal with an assault case filed against him by a hairdresser.

Joseph Agbeko who was also in the studio to promote his “FIGHT FOR PEACE” bout against Tanzania’s Haji Mwalugo Juma on October 14 at the Accra Sports Stadium jokingly agreed to sponsor the Patrice/Banku fight as an under card on the night.

The three-time world bantamweight champion, Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko will return to the ring after a year’s absence. The ten round non-title contest which is being organised by Fresh King Entertainment (FKE) and according to the organisers, the bout is Agbeko’s way of promoting peace before and after the December 7 elections.

Agbeko, 35, will also be hoping to improve on his fight record (35 wins-5 losses) when he faces the 36-year-old Tanzanian who has already lost eight times in 29 outings

Industry players, rapper Tinny, Kweku Menu, Jupiter, Bismark the Joke and Mzbel are some celebrities who have pledged their support.
