Ghanaian hip-hop and Hiplife artiste, Kweku Flick, has warned any fellow rappers interested in engaging in a beef with him to avoid mentioning his mother in their songs.
The Ghanaian Drill music (Asakaa) artiste, whose real name is Andy Osei Sarfo, expressed during an interview on the Gh Highlife show on Onua FM on June 3 that while he is open to musical competition, disrespect towards his mother is a boundary that should not be crossed.
"If you insult me, I will not mind you, but if you extend it to my mom, then you've crossed the line. I will come to your house and beat you.
"I don't want to have troubles with the police, so I will neither injure you nor kill you. But rest assured, I will beat you, I will whip you like a student being disciplined by his teacher," he said.
Kweku Flick, also known for his hit single 'Money', shared insights into how fame has transformed him.
He admitted that he used to be rebellious in his youth, but now, as a public figure, he feels a responsibility towards his younger fans.
"Sometimes I'm tempted to revert to my old ways. To be frank, I was very stubborn and even a bully in school. I was a stubborn boy, but fame has changed me.
"I realized that many young people look up to me, which prompted the change," he said.
