Gospel artiste Joe Mettle
Gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, has disclosed that he will never collaborate with any secular artiste.
The reigning Ghana Music Awards 'Artiste of the Year', told Sokoohemaa Kukua on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, he has no intention collaborating with any secular artiste.
Explaining his reason, he said his style of work is mainly ministry hence any collaboration has to be purely ministry. He was however quick to add that, he will do so when led by the spirit.
‘’Not to judge anybody’s music; my music is mainly ministry and so it has to be purely ministry. But when I am led to do it, why not,’’ he added. When asked how he sees the gospel industry in modern times he said, ‘’it is growing. I feel that it is growing. I feel there’s not been a lot of songs like before…The Music keeps being expensive… We used to release a lot of songs but lately, the numbers have gone down.
Some of the artiste are pursuing other professions and are not releasing like before. But in all that, the industry is growing. There’s been a lot of improvement over the years.’’ He indicated.
