Ghanaians and the world at large may not be bumping to any new music from the Kakai hit maker Shatta Wale from the year 2020.
The Ghanaian dancehall artist revealed he intends retiring from active music in 2020.
The musician made this known in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show.
According to Shatta Wale, his intent to retire in 2020 is premised on the fact that he has learnt the business side of showbiz and was making the right savings to make life better even when he retired.
“I’ve told my manager I want to retire by 2020 and I’m working towards that. I save a lot and don’t spend too much, so when I want to buy anything any day, I can go ahead and do it”, he said.
Shatta Wale admitted he knows exactly how to get people talking about him and so we cannot be sure if this is one of the sayings to get the general public talking about him.
