This came up after the host AJ Sarpong of mid-morning show asked him why none of his songs were nominated during the VGMAs, because ‘Mama Boss Papa’ is biggest jam making the loudest noise and making all the waves in Ghana currently and should had been nominated in the Most Popular Song of the Year category.

The actor cum musician answered; “maybe they think am an actor so I don’t fit in the music circle for my songs to be nominated.”

He even gave a scenario using America rapper 50cent; he said “50cent is a rapper and also an actor so why didn’t they nominate any of my songs, not even “I don’t think far” which became the nation’s anthem and I even did 4 collaborations with different artistes on them”.
