Following reports that Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie will get married in June, his mother Madam Ewurama Aggrey has come out to deny that this is actually the case.
She indicated that there was no truth to the rumours as her son has not given her any notice about a marriage.
Some media houses earlier this week published a report that the award-winning rapper will get married on June 17 this year.
Speaking on the occasion of her 60th birthday, Madam Aggrey refuted the date being peddled around and noted that all the rumours about her son getting married are false.
According to her, Sarkodie tells her everything first and as far as she can remember, he has not said anything about getting married in June.
Sarkodie and his girlfriend Tracy have been together for many years and have even welcomed a daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo fondly called Titi into their family.
Mrs Aggrey also noted that although it is a bit delayed, her son Sarkodie will marry at the appropriate time since she will not allow him to date a girl without marrying her.
