Ghanaian comedian, Funny Face is sure he would become Ghana’s President if children were allowed to vote.
“If children did vote, I would be a president,” he said on Gh Today on Gh One TV, in a recent interview.
Guatemalan former TV comedian Jimmy Morales was on Friday, January 15 inaugurated as the country’s new president.
According to state media, he was elected in October after huge anti-corruption demonstrations that led to the prosecution of a former president and vice-president.
Mr. Morales who has no previous experience in government promised to fight corruption in his inaugural address.
Funny face who has expressed joy at the development told Kafui Dey he is proud to see one of his kind given the mandate to govern a nation.
“I am proud of Jimmy, the ‘jimy’ guy.”
The ‘Cow and Chicken’ actor who admits to having a large constituency among Ghana’s minors is hopeful his fans would be given the opportunity to allow him prove his worth on the national development level.
“If they like they should say children should do something and elect a president of their choosing, they will elect me and I will fool the whole of Ghana” his said casually. – GhoneTV
