Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as ‘Lil Win’ is unhappy about the fact that he could not further his education.

According to the comic actor, he would have outshined his level in the entertainment industry and stared in Hollywood movies if he had ‘paid’ heed to education.

“If I was educated, I would have been acting with the big stars in the Hollywood industry. My mum always advised me to go to school, but I never listened. I cannot even interact with people especially great personalities when I travel outside the country and it hurts me,” he lamented.

He, however, urged parents and guardians to eschew child labour and view education as a need for their wards to excel in life.

He said “those parents who send their children to farms, sell oranges and so on should desist from such acts. Children should be encouraged to pay attention to school, so they could excel in life. Education backed with talent is a good thing. Parents should not just scold their children when it turns out they are involved in social vices. They should rather draw them closer and advise them”.

Lil Win was speaking to the media on the sidelines of ‘Our Day with Lil Win’ at the Tema Sports Stadium.

The event, organised by Promo House aims at creating an avenue for children to meet and interact with their favourite celebrities with Lil Win headlining the first edition.

The children were treated to some music and a variety of games and activities.
