Popular African celebrities Mr Ibu, Lydia Forson and Joselyn Dumas will be using their ‘star power’ to win souls for Jesus Christ as they join others to participate in the annual Christian event dubbed, “Stars In Worship.”
“Stars In Worship” is organised by HOM in conjunction with SSA Ventures to bring celebrities under one umbrella to worship and praise God.
Last year’s event brought together different celebs from Ghana and Nigeria such as Citi Fm’s Jessica Saforo, Trigmatic, Nollywood’s Kalu Ikeagwu, Yfm’s Caroline Sampson, actresses Nana Ama McBrown and Ama K Abebrese as well as actor Omar Sheriff Captan.
The rest included Klint The Drunk, Joe Mettle, Soraya Mensah, Live Fm’s Jeremie and Nigeria’s MC Abbey.
Some of them mounted the podium to sing to the glory of God while others gave testimonies about their lives. Together with the congregation, they also prayed for Africa’s entertainment industry.
This year’s event is scheduled to take place at the HOM auditorium at Madina on December 5, 2015.
Organisers of the event announced that they would be adding new African celebrities to the previous list of Africa showbiz personalities on the platform.
Among them are Mr Ibu, Lydia Forson, Becca, Joselyn Dumas, Kalybos, Hogan the comedian and a host of others.
