Multiple award-winning Nigerian musician, Ice Prince, known in real life as Panshak Zamani, has caused a mini battle between Ghanaians and Nigerians after suggesting to the African Union (AU) to merge the two countries.

The BET award winner took to his Twitter account to make the humble appeal to the African Union even though it is yet to be ascertained what necessitated his request.

His post on Twitter read, “Dear AU (aka African Union) Pls Take My Ad-Vice: Its time to make NIGeria and GHana One Country Fa Real !!!!!! I suggest the 'Federal Republic Of NigGha' #TalkToMe”

Some fans who knew too well what the rapper was trying to do indicated that he was just piecing together some rap lines.

However, some Nigerian and Ghanaian fans of the singer who saw the post were not excited about the possibility of merging the two countries and immediately went to war on social media.

Some people spelled out the various challenges faced by the two separate countries and did not want to take on each other’s burdens.

One Ghanaian Joseph Yaw Frimpong?, who did not see this merger happen anytime in the future wrote, “No thank you. We don't want to inherit Nigeria's power crisis and corruption”

Another Ghanaian fan, QuamiwithAQ, wrote, Nigeria produces fuel in abundance Part of the Worldwide oil producers But they sleep in darkness in 2018”

Andyneocrimson1, another Ghanaian who did not want to see this happen remarked, “Plsss we are already suffering from Kwesi Nyantakyi’s hand...we cannot add the whole Nigeria”

However, one Ghanaian fan, kwasivegaz, wanted to see the merger happen as he made it clear in his comment that, “If you know you know, the oneness at heart and similarities shoot thru the roof. It's hard for people to believe there are even 2 countries between them.”

Ola_yinkaa, a Nigerian, thought the idea was a bad one with his comment, “Please get a better idea .”

Another Nigerian fan, Benedictngwu, wrote, “Goan sleep man. NIGeria never sort dia own issue finish na to carry another country join. Haba!”

Ice Prince was in the news recently after it was reported that his former business manager, Tobi Sanni Daniel, tied the knot with award-winning Ghana singer, Becca.
