According to the rapper, Sarkodie did not respond because he did not hear her greet since he was looking on his phone.
In a video that has resurfaced online and sighted by YEN.com.gh, Ice Prince and Sarkodie recalled the beautiful moment they had at the BET Awards in 2014.
"Sarkodie was sitting right beside me at the BET when Beyonce was coming towards us, she said hello to Sarkodie when she got close," he revealed.
"The funny thing is that Sarkodie did not respond to her greeting because he was busy looking on his phone," he added.
Ice Prince noted that he had to inform Sarkodie that Beyonce had greeted but by the time he did, the world star was gone.
The Sarkcess Music boss retorted that Ice Prince had told him before as he feels it was a great moment having Beyonce say hello to him.
The video resurfaced following the recent announcement about Shatta Wale's feature on Beyonce's song.
At the premiere of "The Lion King: The Gift" album, it was revealed that Beyonce had featured dancehall musician Shatta Wale.
Beyonce featured Shatta Wale in a song titled 'Already' which is part of songs on her "The Lion King: The Gift" album.
Many who watched the video of Ice Prince talking of Beyonce saying hi to Sarkodie claimed that if he had responded, they could have spoken and then this feature could have been him and not Shatta Wale.
