Fri, 30 Mar 2007 Source: ghanamusic.com

Last Monday night, during a show witnessed by DStv audiences across the continent, the final four contestants of the Idols Top Ten were chosen.

Joan Ekpai, who sang Maria McKee?s uber-romantic Show Me Heaven and Temitayo who belted out the Vonda Shepherd, Ally McBeal theme song Searching My Soul found success.

The group four performers who weren?t selected by public votes included Tony, Omodele, Sokari and James, who also showed their skills on Sunday night.

Tony took on the Extreme hit More Than Words while Omodele rocked the Wet Wet Wet record Love Is All Around. Sokari headed onstage with her interpretation of Shania Twain?s You?re Still The One and James showed the meaning of his talent with the Backstreet Boys pop single Show Me The Meaning!

Having won the majority of the public votes for group four, on Monday night, Mike Majic announced that Joan and Temitayo were into the TOP TEN but with two spots still to be filled, the anticipation in the air at Planet One was high.

Having selected eight of the TOP TEN contestants, viewing audiences then turned their attention to the judges as Dede, Nana and Dan made their selection for the final two slots!

And audiences didn?t have long to wait as the judges announced Group 1?s Uche and Group 4?s Omodele as their pick for the final two slots available in the TOP TEN.

But who will be the ultimate winner?will it be Omawumi Megbele, Timi Dakolo, Jerrilyn Mulbah, Eric Arubayi, Jodie Odiete, Mercy John, Temitayo George, Joan Ekpai, Uche Ume or Omodele Fatoki?
