Ghanaian musician and socialite Efia Odo has shared her opinion on who she believes should win the 'Artiste of the Year' at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2024.

She noted that King Promise's achievements over the past year make him the frontrunner for the award.

Efia stated that if King Promise does not receive the award, it would cast doubt on the fairness of the scheme, potentially tarnishing its reputation.

Despite acknowledging the talents of the other nominees, she insisted that the 'Terminator' hitmaker has put in sufficient effort to deserve the honour.

“If King Promise doesn’t win Artiste of the Year then the award show is f*cking rigged. He’s put in too much work to go unnoticed,” she wrote on X.

King Promise is up against Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene and Nacee for the coveted Artiste of the Year award.

Several industry figures have also endorsed King Promise as the deserving winner.

The 2024 TGMA is set to take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.
