Iko Boy shoots video with Bukom Banku in James Town

Ghana based, Nigerian Afro beat sensation, Ikoboy has collaborated with popular Ghanaian boxing champion and comedian, Bukom Banku in a music video set to thrill African music lovers.

The video, shot on locations in James Town, a historical suburb of Accra, Ghana's capital was directed by acclaimed genius Prince Dovlo who has recently shot to fame after successfully producing several hit music videos last year.

In an interview with this reporter on location, Iko Boy explained that "I love Ghana and I have made here my home...I want to record history and preserve it for the next generation and Ghana is very symbolical in this regard."

"I loved working with them both, they are professionals," speaking on Bukom Banku and Prince Dovlo.

Ikoboy, is currently signed to GBA Entertainment, an International Record Label Based in Ghana and Nigeria, their singular vision is geared towards dropping records that will provide food for the souls of music lovers.

His unique voice, attitude, and masterly craft of his native Yoruba language fused with English sets him apart from other artistes on the same path as him.

Ikoboy loves fashion and dancing and he looks at promoting African dances such as Shoki and Azonto in this music video for the self-named song, "Shoki Azonto".

Born Sadiq Jamiu Alimi on the 5th of May 1994 in the Nigerian city of Lagos, Iko Boy is a multi- talented singer, songwriter and performer currently pursuing music as a career in Accra, Ghana where he currently resides.
