Each character in the movie portrays traits of human ideologies and behavioural patterns drawn from a multinational and a multicultural background. Each character emits his/her own ideologies concerning role-playing and the space of men and women in the home.
The movie "OUR WIVES" is based on the gender theory of female husbands and male wives. The story unfolds on four (4) couples featuring Elaine Alexis Attoh, Kat Jnr, Abena Egyiriwah Arthur, Nana Godfred Asare Yeboah, Annie Antonio, Steparo Ike, Anna Jenkings and Joe Agyeman.
Where the wives have decided to become husbands of the home and they the husbands should become wives under the pretext of role-playing.
The wives feel the husbands have too much freedom and do not share in the domestic responsibilities of the home hence conceiving a plan to make the men become wives for awhile.
This is for the purpose of presenting a dichotomy of who is presently seen as the head of the household, the women or the men, in the current evolution of gender issues and theories of sex.
"OUR WIVES" premieres at the Silverbird Cinemas West Hills Mall on the 10th of April, 2015 at 6:30pm. Don't miss it!
