Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has stated that he will not be voting in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
In an interview with Smart Ghana on December 5, 2024, the founder of the Ajagurajah Movement claimed that it is a rule in his church that neither he nor his members are allowed to participate in voting.
He said that it is God who appoints leaders, and as such, he has left the elections in God's hands to decide.
"My church members and I don’t vote. I’ve never voted in my life. I will leave Ghana before December 7 and return only after the results have been announced."
"God appoints a king; whatever happens, we are in it. I know who will win this election. If you're a pastor and don't know when to speak or what to say at the right time, people will keep insulting you," he stated.
Ajagurajah also shared his thoughts on the influx of prophecies that have surfaced in the lead-up to the elections.
"Everyone is sharing their opinions. I’ve told my children that I know who is right in all the controversies, and I know who will cry someday,” he stated.
