Nigerian music has taken over in Africa and it’s partly because Nigerians invest a lot into their music.

From authentic music videos to international collaborations with renowned international musicians.

Nigerian artistes can boast of international collaborations like D’Banj and Kanye West, Wizkid and Drake, D’Banj and Snoop Dogg, Davido and Meek Mill, D’Banj and Big Sean, Ice Prince and French Montana and so on.

It’s a different situation in Ghana, our musicians have become local champions. They are only known within the borders of the country and barely performs outside the country.

Here are some international collaborations that we think will shoot Ghanaian musicians higher and are also expected by their fans.

Shatta Wale & Alkaline

Shatta Wale has worked with international dancehall musicians like Jah Vinci. How about working with Dancehall music’s latest sensation, Alkaline, we hope to see that happen soon.

Sarkodie & Twista

Sarkodie started his rap career as a fast rapper, which caught many people’s attention, how about he takes us all back to the basics and feature Twista in a battle-like song in which he will lyrically compete with Twista.

M.anifest & Kendrick Lamar

Our finest and deep rapper M.anifest could do a lot more with Kendrick Lamar on one of his dope beats. It would be a bliss to hear those two rappers murdering a beat.

Efya & Nicki Minaj

Our songstress Efya could make her fans proud by working on a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. What joy the song would bring.

Chase & Chris Brown

Singer Chase could boost his career by working with Chris Brown on a song.

Dee Moneey & Lil Twist or Tyga

Dee Moneey could come through with either Tyga or Lil Twist.

Pappy Kojo, Joey B & Yung Thug

They could murder those trap-styled Hip Hop beats they rap on with Yung Thug any day.

D-Black & Meek Mill

D-Black could do a lot with Meek Mill, maybe he should see Davido for some tips.

Stonebwoy & Konshens or Popcaan

Stonebwoy has already worked with Busy Signal and Kranium, how about someone very respected in the dancehall scene like Konshens or Popcaan.

Obrafour & Snoop Dogg

Since they are both “old gees”, they should both ride on a Hammer beat or a Dr. Dre beat.

EL & Kanye West

EL could take on Kanye West, we can’t wait to hear the bars they will all spit in their collaborations.

Itz Tiffany & Trina

Just because they are both hardcore in their music

Samini & Beenie Man

Samini has worked with a couple of dancehall artistes like Movado & Popcaan, how about someone his mate like Beenie Man.
