Gospel musician, Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, popularly known as Great Ampong has revealed the struggles musicians are going through since digital took over the music marketing system.
The “Gyae su” hit maker who for some time now hasn’t been seen in the music scene, in an interview on Afro joint with FIIFI PRATT on Accra based kingdom plus FM explained how music sales have become a problem for most of the artists.
“Things hasn’t been the same since the digital system was introduced for some of us, cassette and CD’s were really helpful until digital came to take over the music scene which is a big challenge to most of us because we do not have ideas about it…so we hardly get money in terms of selling our music nowadays unless you are booked for a show. The use of pen drive is also another factor.” He said
