Back then, one of the many fears of a comedian was having a bad day but it seems there’s another fear, running out of job!

With their performances and utterances now put under microscopic lenses by various rights groups, activists and other societies, some questions come up.

Are comedians at risk of losing out on their profession?

How do these criticisms impede their level of creativity knowing very well a joke might not sit well with one group or the other?

Not long ago, Ghanaian comedian Warris was called out for a ‘joke’ on rapper Sarkodie’s daughter Titi. The joke didn’t sit well with so many people who described him as a ‘pervert’.

Comedian Kevin Hart also lost on the Oscars hosting job after a tweet about the LGBT community in 2010 surfaced online.

In line with this, I caught up with Foster Romanus who spoke extensively on this subject.
