On Monday, 30th October 2017, 19:30 at Kempinsky Hotel, Gold Coast City, The Israeli designer, Betty Eldad, will join Ghanaian designer Royal Dennis for the Diplomatx Runway of 2017.
This event is being organized by Gorjiors International in collaboration with the Embassy of the state of Israel and Kempinsky Hotel, Gold Coast City.
This is the third year in a row that the diplomatic community is taking part in the Run-Way to raise funds to support Fistula Surgeries for women in Ghana.
Some of these women are already healed and returned to normal life thank to funds that were raised on previous Run-Ways.
Israeli Fashion Designer, Betty Eldad and Ghana’s Royal Denis will thrill fashion lovers with their incredible blend of Israeli and Ghanaian designs as they lead the "Cultural Week of Israel in Ghana” Fashion show.
This Run-Way event is part of a weeklong celebration of Israeli Culture in Accra.
Royal Denis will present his outstanding showcase clothing. The Israeli designer, Betty Eldad will present an amazing unique collection that will bring up to Ghana the scents of the Middle East.
In addition, Betty Eldad will present models that are made of African fabrics, manufactured by VLISCO company.
Members of the Diplomatic Community in Ghana will be modelling some of the gorgeous clothing made by Royal Denis.
Betty Eldad's special background adds uniqueness to her work. She is a former model and ballet dancer. She was born in Israel to a large family of Moroccan, Libyan and Italian origin.
Her intercultural roots have played a major role in her featured designs. She studied at “Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art" in Ramat-Gan and at “Bezalel Academy of Art and Design" in Jerusalem.
Being in the past a classical ballet dancer, has influenced her designing career and added to it forms of elegance, length and movements.
Betty's life experience as a dancer and as a designer has also increased her passion to provide opportunities for women and assist them to express themselves through art and creativity.
In 2008, Betty Eldad opened b e t - k a, an independent fashion design studio that produces seasonally original women's collections that are presented in Israel and abroad.
The Embassy of the State of Israel in Accra would like to use this opportunity to invite all fashion fans to this special event.
