Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy known in real life as Livingstone Etse Setekla, is elated to be named as one of the headline artistes for international reggae group, Morgan Heritage’s tour.
Stonebwoy is joining the group for their European tour which is set to take off in November this year. The tour will begin in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Lausanne and Brussels.
Speaking to the ‘Hitz High Table’ show with Dr Pounds, Stonebwoy revealed he was honored to be on a tour with such a great band.
“It’s a big honour to be one of the special guest performers. It has always being my dream to go out there and do it with the people that do it,” he said.
Although elated by the invitation, the dancehall artiste was quick to state he is not the first Ghanaian to go on tour with some big names from the world reggae scene.
"I’m not going to be the first, neither am I going to be the last but am here to stay,” he added.
In another development, the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award winner has disclosed that he is close to signing an impressive record distribution deal with VP Records, one of the biggest record labels in the reggae/dancehall music genre.
VP Records is an independent record label in New York which is best known for releasing music by Jamaican artists like Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Buju Banton and Mavado.
