Renowned Ghanaian fashionista, Nana Akua Addo, has issued a call to action for Ghanaians to eschew the practice of bringing phones and car keys onto the Red Carpet, labeling it as passé.

She advocates for a shift in mindset, particularly among celebrities, to embrace the assistance of personal aides for managing such items in the future.

"It's time to leave our phones and car keys behind when stepping onto the Red Carpet; it's simply outdated. Often, Ghanaians need a reminder to hand over their devices to their personal assistants (PAs).

"Nigerian fashionistas have elevated their game to a whole new level of professionalism. Their PAs ensure that before they make their Red Carpet entrance, all distractions are removed. The spotlight should be solely on the individual, their personal brand, and their attire," She stated.

She added, "Yet, here, it's as if everyone must flaunt their car key, which I find quite improper. It doesn't matter what car you drive; the Red Carpet is a stage to flaunt your fashion, not your possessions. The moment a car key is visible, it detracts from the overall impression. Therefore, let's do away with phones and, frankly, any other unrelated items on the red carpet."
