Wife of veteran actor, Jaga Pee who has been battling illness for months now is calling on Ghanaians to come to the aid of her husband.

The actor known in real life as Abeiku Nyame needs Gh 40,000 for an operation at the 37 Military Hospital.

The woman whose name is only known as Maame in an interview with Zionfelix.net said she has spent almost everything she has including the little others have donated on husband’s sickness leaving only Gh 500 on her. She said he needed $20,000 but Ghana Heart Foundation pledged to pay half of the amount.

The sad woman continued that doctors decided to give him a date anytime the money is deposited but they have rescind their decision to start the operation as soon the cash is raised because Jaga’s situation is getting worst.

“He needs Gh 40,000 for operation. It was $ 20,000 but Heart Foundation has taken $10,000 so we have to also get the other half before they start the operation. Doctors say two of his valves have damaged and the other two are not strong so he needs artificial ones.

What I’ve on me now is Gh 500 because we’ve spent a lot on his hospital bills. He’s been admitted at the hospital for about 3 or 4 times with Sister Amanda (Amanda Jissih) helping us with the recent one.

Doctors wanted us to pay the money before they give him date to operate him but they’ve changed their words. Now they will start the operation as soon as we give them the money because they say the condition has become serious” she told Zionfelix.net Friday evening.

The woman made passionate appeal to Ghanaians to come to her aid.

“Please all of you should help me because I’m weak now. I don’t know what would’ve happened if I didn’t meet Sister Amanda. People should help me with the Gh 500 I have.”

She said individuals who want to help her husband financially can donate through this mobile money number 0245701404.

Jaga Pee in July this year made a passionate appeal to President Mahama to support him financially to enable him pay his hospital bills, after he disclosed that he is suffering from enlargement of the heart or cardiomegaly. His call to the president has yielded no results.
