Jaij Hollands, born Jehieli Afrifa Boateng hails from Amsterdam in the Netherlands and currently resides in South London, United Kingdom.
Hollands is a multi-genre recording artist widely known for his rugged vocals on 'Alkayida' type drum patterns.
Jaij was first introduced to music in primary school and took music lessons to further develop his musical knowledge. After working at various professional studios making beats, Jaij decided to peruse his career as a recording artist and released his first official single and video titled: ‘Everyday Afrobeats’ followed by ‘Wonder’.
Hollands launched his latest single titled 'Pinga' In November 2015, which currently has 286,000 + hits on YouTube.
Pinga features UK Based African Music Group NSG, and 3 months on after gaining an extensive amount of reception and support from the single and the energetic dance routines around it, the single particularly drew the attention of Ashaiman (Ghana) born, International artist, performer and 15 time award winning Afrodancehall Act Stonebwoy, the 2015 BET Award Winner - Best International Act Africa.
With assistance from KV Online, an Independent Youth Media Platform, Video Production Agency and Talent Promotion Brand based in the United Kingdom, the two parties were able to merge and form the remix.
