Jessica Opare Saforo flatters mom on her birthday

Jessica Opare Saforo has showered her mom with praises on her 69th birthday, stressing that, she is lucky to have a mother like her.

The award winning broadcaster said, “You're 69 years old today and I can only imagine your struggles in raising my siblings and me. Four kids at any point in time is not [an] easy feat. You may think God blessed you with us, but it's really the other way round. We are lucky to have you”.

She particularly described her faith, which the radio personality obviously has immensely benefitted as infectious.

“You make me want to truly and fully surrender ALL my burdens unto this God you've encouraged me to know. You tell me that nothing can prevent you from seeking Him and believing in His word,” the strong-willed presenter observed.

She took advantage of the moment to ask for God’s abundant blessings and longevity for her mom as she turns a year older.

Dear Mum, You're 69 years old today and i can only imagine your struggles in raising my siblings and me. 4 kids at any point in time is not an easy feat. You may think God blessed u with us but it's really the other way round. We are lucky to have you. As we grow your challenges become more apparent and our love and appreciation for you grow by the second. God has done so much. God has brought you far. I don't know if you know this but, your faith is so strong it's infectious. You make me want to truly and fully surrender ALL my burdens unto this God you've encouraged me to know. You tell me that nothing can prevent you from seeking Him and believing in His word. In many ways mother.... you are my beacon of light in a cruel world. Today I commit you into God's hands. I share in your victories, losses and pains. I share in your joys. There is only one prayer on my lips for you. That the good Lord will smile upon you and answer your innermost prayer. I pray for healing in your body. I pray for strength to go on. I love you mum. This message is from the depths of my soul. May God grant you many more years. May God's will be done in your life.
