John Dumelo: Shirley & I Are Matured Now

Ladies’s man John Dumelo has spoken about his inclusion in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Adams Apples’, saying he feels matured working with the award-winning director. “It is easy working with Shirley this time.

The first time I worked with her, I must say I had a little experience in acting. I was just coming up but this time I think I am a bit matured and she is also a bit matured in directing aspect and as we worked together, we found out that there is a bond between us which can be improved every single time. Working with her is excellent,” he said.

John was speaking in short exclusive interview with ‘News-One’ shortly after the screening of Adams Apples’ at the National Theater last Thursday. He described ‘Adams Apples’ as a fantastic new concern from Shirley Frimpong Manso and her team. John played the role of Denu McCarby who had to work in the same office with his former girlfriend, Kukuwa Adams (Naa Ashorkor). “The movie tells the story of many people. Everybody has a story in it and I think it is fantastic.
