John Dumelo and wife Mawunya
Ghanaian actor John Dumelo got married to Gifty Mawunya Nkornu at a colourful traditional marriage ceremony on Saturday.
Though not opened to the public, the ceremony was well attended as close friends, family and top celebrities flooded the Lashibi residence of the Mawunya's parents for the ceremony.
Mawunya is the younger sister of actress Selassie Ibrahim and a bestie of Nadia Buari.
She’s also a trained lawyer who usually base in the UK and has some connections to the NDC and former President John Dramani Mahama.
The couple after getting married this past Saturday, were in church at the Dominion Chapel to thank God for seeing them through a successful marriage.
Wearing an all white outfit, the couple looked lovely and splendid and their smiles alone explained how happy there were.
It is not known if the couple would officially have a white wedding after the traditional ceremony.
