John Dumelo, the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has addressed the issue of water shortage at the University of Ghana's new halls.
The actor-turned-farmer, John Dumelo, has made a significant impact by supplying tankers of water to students who have been struggling with limited access to water for several days.
It is currently unclear when the Ghana Water Company will restore water supply to the university campus.
John Dumelo announced his actions in a social media post, stating, "I responded to the plight of students on Legon campus today with regards to the water shortage. I hope this gesture will mitigate the situation until we find a permanent solution."
John Dumelo is challenging Lydia Alhassan for the Member of Parliament seat in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, aiming to win the election and represent the constituents.
