From L to R: Joint 77, Made in Ghana and Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy
Ghanaian musician Joint 77 has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Nigerian streamer Carter Efe, who was recently seen in a video disrespecting dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
Recently, Carter Efe, during one of his livestreams while in Ghana, was seen comparing himself to Stonebwoy and also made some derogatory comments about the dancehall musician.
The trigger over this issue was that Made in Ghana sat aloof while Carter Efe disrespected Stonebwoy, and in some situations, the Nigerian streamer admitted that he was influenced by the Ghanaian comedian.
This development has attracted tons of criticism from several individuals, and one of the latest to condemn the development is Joint 77.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on November 4, 2026, Joint 77 was seen lambasting Made in Ghana and some Ghanaian social media users for constantly disrespecting their own artistes.
He explained that the constant disrespect shown to Ghanaian musicians by their own people has given Nigerians the leverage to treat the country's artistes in the same manner.
“Those of you in Ghana calling yourselves content creators or comedians who have given other creators the chance to leave their country and come to Ghana just to disrespect our artistes have no brain. In fact, you are senseless,” he said.
Joint 77 also noted that Nigerians do not show the same interest in Ghanaian artistes as Ghanaians do to Nigerian artistes.

He further condemned individuals who give Nigerians the opportunity to disrespect Ghanaian artistes
“Do you think if you go to Nigeria somebody will give a fuck about you? I went with one of your biggest artistes, and I know how they treated him because they are one.
“They speak pidgin, and the whole country speaks it, so they are one. Those of us in Ghana constantly disrespecting our artistes should stop fooling because one day you will equally face the same thing,” he added.
