American gospel singer and author, Juanita Bynum has decided to make Ghana the headquarters of her ministry.
The musician who is in Ghana for this year’s Tehilla Experience, at a press conference in Accra, Saturday, said she feels in her spirit to establish Juanita Bynum International with the headquarters being Ghana.
“I’ve thought about returning to Africa. I keep thinking in myself and saying to God, ‘I cannot go back to Africa until there is a pull in the spirit like this.’ I felt that riveting experience go through my soul and I’ve never forgotten it…. I know God is up to something and I am excited. I feel like I’ve heard from the Lord and I would like to make my ministry headquarters in Ghana. This would be my international home for my ministry that would go across nations,” she noted.
Juanita Bynum’s powerful gospel ministry in word and song has encouraged and transformed millions of hearts worldwide, as has many of her books.
She hosts television programmes and often shares her insights in women’s ministries. She has also authored bestselling titles such as No More Sheets, Matters of the Heart, The Threshing Floor, and A Heart for Jesus.
Isaac Ampofo-Twum, husband and manager of Ohemaa Mercy reiterated that Juanita Bynum is one person Ohemaa Mercy admires in the gospel fraternity and having her on Tehilla Experience is fulfilling.
The fifth edition of Ohemaa Mercy’s annual worship programme comes off Sunday, August 12 at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Calvary Temple, Spintex.
Themed ‘His Name is Jesus’ the event will also see Ghana’s Joe Mettle, Cwesi Oteng, Akesse Brempong, Elder Mireku, Ceccy Twum, Oware Junior, Moses OK, among others perform.
