All roads last Saturday led to the Royal House Chapel (Ahenfie) where Samuel Ebo Kwaitoo, a sports journalist, and a host of renowned and up-and-coming gospel artistes treated an audience to some gospel tunes at the launch of his debut album entitled Judah Praise Vol. 1.
The 18-track CD and 14-track cassette album was successfully launched by Rev. Ofei Kumi of Happy FM, who was also the Master of Ceremony.
The album is an all-worship piece made up of hymns and some popular worship songs.
Among the songs on the album is ?Christofo Gyidifo?, a soul-inspiring song that beseeches all Christian believers to serve the Lord in truth and to worship Him with all fear and reverence.
?N?Ehumobor Tsim Ho Daa (His mercies endure forever)? is a piece that assures the gospel-loving audience of God?s never-ending mercies and faithfulness.
?I Need No Other Argument? is testimony of the believer of Jesus only saving power. Some of the other songs on the album include ?Mekra Hyira No?, ?Ennora? and ?I Bless Thee O Lord?.
Ebo Kwaitoo backed by the Levites treated the congregation at Ahenfie to some of the songs on the album. They sang so powerfully that it brought the congregation to their feet in worship.
Although time did not permit him to sing many songs, the few he sang were enough to justify the viability of the song on the market and to assist one in worship and devotion.
The sensational Alabaster Box and Nana Yaw Asare treated the congregation to good tunes which got many in the audience on the dance floor.
Evangelist Kwame Adu also made his presence felt as he took the congregation through a hot praise section that would always be remembered.
Pastor Dan Ohemeng Kakra, Voices of Judah and up-and-coming artistes, Caroline and Lina were also present to make the launch a success. They sang so well to the praise of God. Dan, for instance, did a gospel rap to the excitement of all present. Who says gospel artistes cannot do rap?
Another spectacular sight to remember was when 16-yearold Emmanuel Nana Addo took over the stage and did his own thing. His performance filled the hearts of the audience with joy knowing that of a truth the gospel music industry has a future.
The congregation really had a rollicking time in the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy as the album seeks to draw all men to encounter the Almighty God through pure worhisp.
