Hohoe, July 27, GNA - Police Chief Inspector Ben Asiamah, in-charge of Golokwati Police Station, is receiving prayers at the Messiah Mission Prayer Camp at Gbi-Atabu near Hohoe when a suspect he and his colleagues had gone to arrest allegedly struck him down with "juju."
Policemen who Mr Asiamah had gone with to arrest the suspect found it difficult to handcuff him so the Chief Inspector decided to perform the task himself.
But the suspect was alleged to have recited some incantations and brushed Mr Asiamah's face with his palm and this send him to the ground motionless.
He was however revived at the Hohoe Hospital but behaved unnaturally so he was sent to the prayer camp. A source told the Ghana News Agency that Mr Asiamah was regaining normalcy.
