Ghanaian actor, Osuman Idrees, popularly known as Yogot from the beloved comedic TV series, Junka Town, has passed away.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the family of the actor, unconfirmed reports state that the actor passed away on the morning of Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Great Faith Clinic in the Efua Crentsil Building at Effiakuma, Takoradi.
The specifics regarding the cause of Yogot's death remain unknown, with reports suggesting he succumbed to an illness that has not been disclosed.
Blogger Fiifi Adinkra, the founder of GhanaNdwom, was among the first to report on Yogot's tragic departure.
Takoradi-based radio station Connect FM confirmed the sad news, and Highlife artiste Nero X also shared the news on his Facebook handle.
