K’NAF To Host Fashion Show 2010

THE K’NAF-Gye Nyame Foundation will on Saturday May 22, host its first annual Fashion Aid Charity Event in Accra, Ghana.

Fashion Aid Charity event is to assist in the development of the Ghanaian fashion industry.

The event will create a platform for the auction of clothes, of which part of the proceeds will be donated to the Golden Hearts Trust which caters for underprivileged children with congenital heart disease.

The foundation, which was founded by K’NAF Couture Ltd, believes strongly in giving and seeks to touch and improve the lives of many by employing and nurturing local talents, creating jobs and mentoring people with little work experience or educational background.

K`NAF Couture is a fashion label by Kayda Nana Afriyie Frimpong (KNAF), who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design.

K`NAF Couture recently relocated from its home base in the United States, to Ghana, West Africa.

K’NAF’s highly stylish and custom-made clothes are designed to accentuate the female figure and compliment the male build.

Philanthropy is a major driving force behind K`NAF Couture and it is the company’s vibrant hope to contribute to the development of the African fashion industry and economy through commerce and charity.
