Award winning actress and producer, Kafui Danku on Friday went furious, lampooned and condemned some people she termed as ‘wanting her downfall’, in other words her ‘haters’.
She explained on her Facebook that an artwork of a movie was sent to her and apparently has been photo-shopped in a way to ruin her reputation. She went on to state that she had the intuition that these malicious acts were the handiworks of some people who are after her.
In her own words [unedited] as written on her Facebook page:
“It's really sad how people want u down so badly that they spend all their time devising means of ruining ur reputation. An artwork of a movie has been sent to me and it has been photo shopped in a way that if u don't know me, u'll just go ahead and condemn me on the poster.”
“Initially, I laughed about it and thought it was all one big joke and then I woke up this morning with all kinds of messages on my phone. Well, I just want to let my fans who do not know me personally that, I've never shot any movie called 'Destined'. I've also not worked with those other artists on the poster. I'm sure someone is just trying to distract me, knowing that we're seriously working hard at producing another fantastic Movie.”
“Well our genuine fans, I want to let u know that I'm not distracted at all. We're still shooting HAPPY DEATHDAY. And this won't stop us. If u follow the movies I feature in, you can tell that the poster of 'Destined' is Fake definitely not my kind of movie. It's evident that “wo kum apeem a,apeem beba” God is still in control. Thanks.”
Kafui Danku who has debunked her acquaintance with the low quality ‘Destined’ movie, is currently on set producing her new movie titled “Happy Deathday”.
“Happy Deathday” is said to feature Nana Ama McBrown, Alex Kubo, James Gardner Elikem ‘the tailor’ Kumordzie and Kafui Danku herself.
