Call the me Don King of recent “beefs” in the Ghanaian music industry and you might not be far from right (wink).
Well for the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to almost all the time exclusively premiere all the diss (beef) songs on my radio shows and online (www.nydjlive.com) as well. From Bossy, god MC, Kanta, 100% to Kaakie’s Sankwas and lately Make I Shine.
Do I like beef? I dare say no but perhaps I had been itching and looking forward to a new response from Ghanaian dancehall artist Kaakie after MzVee replied her first shot Sankwas with Make I Shine which features E.L almost 24 hours ago.
Why was I really looking forward to that? My reason is simple.
Producer for Kaakie and CEO of Xtra Large Music Jam Master Jay otherwise referred to as JMJ in a post on July 25 2016 revealed he had picked intelligence that BET Award nominee MzVee was already recording a response to Kaakie’s Sankwas and promised to also respond in less than 12 hours.
“Great I love this ….am told to get ready for response to SANKWAS…..
I promise less dan 12hr she gwan counter ……I fear for u thou hun.”
However, it’s almost 24 hours since www.nydjlive.com premiered Make I Shine and there’s no sign of a response from Kaakie.
Well, in Twi they say “S3 obaa ky3 wo adware3 a, na osiesie no ho”. Perhaps, Kaakie and the team are preparing to release venom as Jam Master Jay says in this post.
