Entertainment pundit Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, has debunked earlier allegations by social media influencer Kaly Jay that he was offered $50,000 to stop criticising the government.

In a conversation with Kwadwo Sheldon, the staunch NPP member argued that the government of Ghana did not offer Kaly Jay any money, therefore his earlier allegations are false.

According to him, Kaly Jay is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), so he made those allegations to tarnish the image of the ruling NPP government.

"Kaly Jay doesn't have credibility for what he said. The claim that the NPP gave him $50,000 is not true. He is a liar," he said.

He added that Kaly Jay's #StopGalamseyNow protest, which was organised to fight against illegal mining, was orchestrated by a political party.

"You realise he went on Efia Odo's show and said the protest he did was not influenced by any political party, but that was a lie. He received funding from people and a political party. He didn't organize the demonstration because he had the country at heart," KOKA alleged
