Kasapa 102.3 FM’s mid-morning show host Afia Schwarzenegger has left the station. Management of the six-month-old station which has become one of Accra’s most revered mass market radio stations, has wished her well.
Station handlers say Afia is leaving to pursue other interests. Meanwhile, the Adabraka-based station is set to announce a new host for its mid-morning show Aben Wo Ha, currently one of the most listened-to mid-morning shows on mass market radio in Accra.
Kasapa 102.3 FM is owned by EIB Network, Ghana’s leading media group that also operates Starr FM, and LIVE FM (all in Accra), Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), GH ONE TV and the Daily Heritage newspaper.
EIB is set to roll out two new stations in the coming months; Abusua FM (Kumasi) and Super FM (Tamale).
