Earlier in January this year, news broke that the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, had signed a juicy deal with Kasapreko.

Details of the deal, however, were not made public and were treated as confidential by both parties – Ebony and Kasapreko.

But some few hours after her death, it has been gathered that Ebony’s contract with Kasapreko was supposed to earn her a tidy sum of $200,000.

This is a huge sum that could make every artiste want to be the beneficiary.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was supposed to promote the Hi5 Chocomalt beverage with her personality and music brand.

The late dancehall queen herself broke this news on her Instagram page and from all indications she was really excited about it.

Sadly, Ebony could not live long enough to see this contract materialize for her to enjoy.

She died in a gory accident last Thursday night with two others with whom she was traveling back to Accra.

She had gone to visit her mother in the Brong-Ahafo Region when she met her untimely death after the vehicle in which they were traveling collided with an oncoming VIP bus.

Ebony was supposed to have been in Belgium on Wednesday to perform at the Belgium edition of ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ but sadly, this never came to pass.
