Ghanaian hip-hop artiste Pappy Kojo has stated that Keche should appreciate his performances of their songs on stage.
Pappy Kojo emphasised in an interview on YFM that he holds no grudge towards the music duo, adding, “They should be happy that I perform their songs because I’m a fan. If I see any artiste performing my songs, I would be equally happy,” he stated.
He added, “I’m not doing anything wrong; I’m just enjoying their music. If they have a problem with me performing their songs, that’s their issue.”
Pappy Kojo further stated that the "Aluguntugui" hitmakers shouldn't have been the right artistes to have been involved in the hip-hop battle between Nigerian rapper Dremo and some Ghanaian musicians.
"It was funny Keche was involved in the beef, we are talking about Hip-Hop and Keche doesn't do that genre of music, so it wasn't a wise idea for them to join in the battle," he said.
Having been in the music industry for a decade, Pappy Kojo gained prominence with his single "Realer No" in 2014, following a feature with Joey B in 2013.
He has since collaborated with artistes like Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Reggie, and Skyface.
